AU. Pulsing Fire

Liam is that guy who almost got it all. Almost. He got his friends; Louis and Harry. Literally always cheering him on when he’s at the gym, his boxing matches and they always make sure he’s not losing it. “He’s got bit of a temper,” Liam’s coach had pointed out to Louis one time and it’s true. He’s the best in his group.

Zayn is just that kid on a bike who pick pockets from the wrong guys. For a living he works at a gas station and shares a flat, a really shabby and run down one, with his partner in crime; Niall. He thought that maybe he could pick pocket that broad shouldered guy with the kind brown eyes and wide smile. But he get’s cornered in some alley and maybe the bleeding nose was worth it because it makes him follow the guy to some random gym and he ends up sitting there every night watching him beat the living shit out of a bag. And he apologises.

Liam starts off repelled and annoyed by Zayn. Who the fuck does he think he is? Stealing from other people? But then he gets to know him, bits by bits. Night by night and when Zayn feeds him the story about a lost family and a crushed dream, he’s found something else to fight for than just his own control.
